Why working as Financial Controller at Fresenius?
- You hold responsibility for all statutory finance aspects with the Belgium and Luxembourg region.

What this role entails
- You take care and coordinate the periodic closings on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis in collaboration with our shared service center in Poland/Philippines, and you report the results to the head office in Germany.
- The various general ledger accounts are monitored by you, and you perform periodic balance sheet analyses, evaluate and create provisions and initiating payments.
- You are taking care of external reporting (VAT, IC declaration, corporate income tax, NBB, Recupel , Bebat, packaging tax).
- You help supplying the audit file (PBC list) and coordinate the external audits.
- You coordinate the budgeting and planning process in collaboration with the various departments and their managers.
- Further optimizing and automating financial processes. There’s always room for improvement in the processes, so bring your bright ideas .
- And last, liquidity planning and accounts receivable management.
What we are looking for
And furthermore:
- A seasoned financial controller / financial manager with hands-on experience in the financial management of a legal entity;
- You are in possession of a financial-economic Bachelor's or Master's degree;
- Good knowledge of SAP FICO, Excel and reporting tools (BI);
- Fluent in Dutch (this is a must) and a good command of the English language. Sufficient knowledge of the French language is preferred;
- Willingness to spend on average 3 days a week at our location in Willebroek.
