JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Centre Manager
Report to: Chairman and Exco Committee Members
Responsibility: To oversee the day-to-day operation of the Active Ageing Centre (AAC)

Qualifications: Minimum GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma in any field.
At least 1 year of experience in running a Centre with supervisory skill
Key Duties
Programme Planning, Implementation, Development and Managing staff
- You will develop, manage and review the overall operational standards and procedures of the AAC.
- Develop and implement outreach plans for seniors, ensure that all programmes and activities meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and operating guidelines issued by Funder (eg: MOH and AIC).
- Oversee Centre operations and supervision of staff with good governance and stewardship, ensuring that the AAC is comfortable and clean without compromising the safety of staff and seniors.
- Provide feedback and report on the developments of the AAC to the management committee ensuring that the AAC remains relevant to the needs of the seniors in the community.
- Develop staff potential and instill a coaching culture in the department.
- Manage & review the Centre’s financial standing and to safeguard against misappropriation of the Centre’s assets.
- Recruit, interview and screen potential volunteers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with the community leaders, beneficiaries, volunteers and corporate partners to help the AAC thrive in the community.
Liaising
- Liaising with seniors and seniors’ family members, next-of-kin, etc.
- Liaising with medical social workers and social workers.
- Liaising with stakeholders, partners (CC, FSC, AIC, MOH, GROs, etc)
- Liaising with donors and sponsors.
- Liaising with External Auditor for the Yearly Financial Statement.
- Liaising with Account Service Provider.
Proper recording of visitation conducted by Staff
- Weekly visitation to vulnerable seniors in accordance to AIC requirements.
- Monthly visitation / by phone to other registered members.
- Case visitation - new members, render help and get to know seniors.
- Outreach to achieve the KPIs.
Training and Development of Personnel
- Lead, motivate and train staff under your supervision.
- To monitor the work progress of all staff and provide guidance.
Alert Alarm System (AAS)
- Oversee proper record, proper management of the AAS and ensure immediate assistance rendered to calls during office hours.
Administrative Duties
- Handle / record of all Accounts matter (Income, Payments, Staff salary, Submission of Monthly CPF Contributions, Income Tax Auto-Inclusion, IR8A and Funding from MOH, Tote Board and Donations.
- Responsible for Progress report and Annual Reports to MOH / AIC.
- Monthly Accounts report to Chairman, Treasurer and Auditor.
- Bi-Monthly KGA SAC Management Meeting – Minutes, Treasurer Report, Centre Report and etc.
- Provide Secretariat support to Management Committee.
- Undertake any other duties assigned.
Working Hours
Mondays to Fridays 8.45am to 5.30pm
