Business Development Executive
Black Urban is hiring competitive, driven sales professionals, and strong communicators who consistently practice refining their skillset. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and demonstrate the ability to execute a particular strategy.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
- Survey prospects to understand pain points within their business so that you can align those business needs.
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal
- Have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them
- Must have experience in B2B and B2C sales.
- Achieve daily KPIs and monthly quota.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience with client management.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals. Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- an excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
- interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
- Strong end-to-end ownership attitude from prospecting, and demonstrations, to closing.
- Self-starters must empower themselves and others to learn in a quickly evolving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (A person having a US accent will be preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and thrive with change.
- Experience with Data Mining, Data Scraping Tools, MS Office tools, and general technical aptitude preferred.
